About the Event
After the loss of her parents, Jodi found herself drawn to the artefacts left behind.
Each item photographed forms a small part of the lives of those lost to her. Curating a series of photographs which explore and reimagine these special items has provided a sense of fulfilment, of respecting those who came before, and has sparked research into many of the items.
Adding to the photographic works are still life paintings by Gino Severin of several of the subjects. Jodi hopes these further elevate and challenge the idea of worth in the worthless and as a comparative art form to photography.
